National Week of Action- Press Coverage in NE! |

|
Thank you to everyone who is participating in our National Week of Action (April 26th - May 2nd). Currently there are 33 states, including Nebraska, involved in this nationwide effort to increase support and raise awareness for the federal prosthetic parity bill.
Press Coverage in NE: We have sent out press alerts and an Omaha paper has shown interest in covering this event. We need as many NE residents as possible to take part in this nationwide event!
HR 5615 will put prosthetic devices where they belong - on par with other critical medical services. It will return people to work and will help them to reclaim their lives and do so at no additional cost to the American taxpayers.
If you have not yet signed up to participate in this nationwide effort, please contact Sheila Van Pay ASAP to get the materials you need to plan a successful event in your area!
Activities for the National Week of Action (April 26th - May 2nd) include campus bake sales, house parties, postcard drives, meetings with legislators, etc... You can view our 2008 Organizing Kit, which will explain these activities in depth, by clicking here.
